BRS Support – Recieving Club Emails

We are aware that many people have been experiencing problems with the receipt of emails from the BRS mail system. Emails sent via the system make be being held in ‘junk mail’ or the ‘clutter’ of various email providers. The BRS support team have suggested carrying out the following simple checks to resolve the problem for the majority of members.

 

1. MARK AN EMAIL ADDRESS AS SAFE IN ‘GOOGLE MAIL

  •  Select “Filtered and Blocked Addresses”
  • If you currently have “Blocked Email Addresses” select the “Unblock” option
  • Ensure stpatricksgolfclub@brsgolfmail.com is not marked as blocked

2. MARK AN EMAIL ADDRESS AS SAFE IN ‘HOTMAIL

  • Sign in to the Windows Live Hotmail website
  • In the upper-right corner of the page, click “Options”, and then click “More” options
  • Under Junk e-mail, click “Safe and Blocked Senders”
  • Click “Safe Senders”
  • Enter stpatricksgolfclub@brsgolfmail.com and then click “Add to List”

3. MARK AN EMAIL ADDRESS AS SAFE IN ‘YAHOO

Open your Yahoo mailbox

  • Click the address book icon under the Yahoo! Mail logo
  • When you roll your mouse over it, it will say “Contacts”
  • Click “New Contact”
  • Fill in the fields of your “Contacts” (stpatricksgolfclub@brsgolfmail.com)
  • Click ” Save”

4. MARK AN EMAIL ADDRESS AS SAFE IN ‘AOL

  • Open the email
  • Click on the sender’s name and email address
  • Click ” Add to Address Book” in the window that appears
  • Enter any additional information
  • Click “Save”
